ConsumerReports.org provides unbiased ratings, reviews, recommendations, and buying advice from expert Consumer Reports testers. It covers thousands of products and services, such as cars, electronics, and appliances. In addition, frequently updated articles, blogs, and video content allows consumers to find the latest consumer news, such as product recalls.
Logging In

Browsing & Reading
Browse reports and recommendations on different product categories using the main menu at the top of the page. You can find ratings, buying guides, and price comparisons.
The News tab will take you to a section containing in-depth advice, tips and trends written by Consumer Reports experts. You can also sign up to receive Consumer Reports news, including safety recalls, via email by adding yourself to their mailing list.

Consumer Reports is a membership-based service, but your library card gives you access to a free membership. If you’re prompted to pay to sign up, make sure you are logged in with your BPL card number.
